Manu Bennett On Whether His Deathstroke Will Appear On Titans

Any hardcore Teen Titans fan knows that one of the most iconic villains that the group faces a lot in the comics is Deathstroke the Terminator. Slade Wilson has had a large presence in the media over the last few years, particularly on TV with Manu Bennett portraying him in the Arrowverse.

As production is underway on Titans Season 1, there are obviously curious fans wondering whether Deathstroke will ever show up. There are also those who wonder if Bennett will possibly show up on Titans to battle our young heroes.

At the recent Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in San Jose, a fan asked Bennett if there is any chance his Deathstroke will make a guest spot on Titans. Unfortunately, the actor revealed that there have been no discussions about that.

“There’s been no discussion about that. And I don’t know. The power’s in the pen, that’s all I can say about that. I really have no idea. The power’s in the pen, and in the audience saying what they want.”

While there haven’t been any discussions, there is a possible reason for why. Nothing has indicated that Titans will be part of the Arrowverse, given it won’t air on The CW. Production is also happening in Toronto rather than Vancouver like the other Greg Berlanti DC shows.

Right now, signs are pointing more towards Titans not existing within the Arrowverse, especially since it will air on a DC streaming service. When the time comes for Deathstroke to appear on this show, it will most likely be a new actor portraying the fan-favorite baddie.
